Joe Morgan was wrapping up his 8-year tenure in Cincinnati in 1979, a time in which he earned consecutive NL MVP Awards and helped the Reds win multiple pennants and back-to-back World Championships in 1975-76. Morgan’s 1979 Hillerich & Bradsby M253 model bat shows excellent game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks and scuffs visible on the barrel and Morgan’s number “8” is handwritten in black marker with a circle around it on the knob. The number “8” is also handwritten in faded black marker on the top barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18950) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
