Pujols swung into 2008 riding a streak of seven consecutive .300 or better seasons; 2008 would prove to be the second best of his career with .358 and 37 home runs. Photo evidence shows the Cardinals star wore these size 12.5 cleats in the early part of June, 2008. The Nike Air Zoom MVP cleats show good game use with turf and grass scuffs throughout. The back of each is customized with his number “5” embroidered in navy and white thread and “WWJD” in white on the inside of each toe. A “PUJOLS” shoelace tag is stitched on both tongues. The All-Star first baseman has signed each side panel above the Nike Swoosh in black Sharpie, adding his number “5”. Letter of Authenticity from JSA (cert. X04741) and MEARS who have graded the pair of cleats AUTHENTIC.
