After 1,115 games and 652 regular season saves, Mariano Rivera’s legendary 19-season career came to a close in 2013. Rivera retired as the all-time saves’ leader in Major League history and was the first player ever unanimously elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Rivera pitched a scoreless ninth inning against the visiting Baltimore Orioles during the July 6, 2013 game, allowing only a hit and striking out one to earn the save – his 29th of the 2013 season and 637th of his storied career.

These offered size 11 Nike cleats were worn by Rivera during the July 6, 2013 game in which he recorded his 637th career save. These cleats are all black and display moderate wear. There are dirt marks on the front right toe area, consistent with a right-handed pitcher pushing off and dragging his right foot.  “42” is embroidered in white on the black flap that covers the tied portion of the laces. “PHIL 4:13” is embroidered on the outer heels and the bottom of the cleats each have five metal spikes. Handwritten in black marker on the bottom of the right shoe is “6261-8H”. Rivera has signed these cleats in silver marker and inscribed “GU 7/6/13” on each. These cleats come with individual MLB Authenticated holograms (EK641987-left & EK641988-right) and STICKERS ONLY from Steiner Sports (207602-left & 207601-right).
