Former Philadelphia Phillies slugger Ryan Howard had a bounce-back year in 2014 as he hit 23 home runs and drove in 95, while playing in 153 games, almost double to that of 2013. Howard used this Marucci RH6-M Pro Model bat during the 2014 season and swung it for the last time during the September 11, 2014 game. Howard cracked this bat off of Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Francisco Liriano in the bottom of the second inning. This bat displays outstanding game use and has the aforementioned crack in the handle. There are ball marks and cleat imprints present on the barrel and there is a moderate coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel. The bat’s manufacture date “05/23/14" and Howard’s number “6” have been stamped on the knob. This bat comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (EK724998), which authenticates that Howard used this bat during the September 11, 2014 game and cracked facing Francisco Liriano of the Pirates in the bottom of the second inning. MLB also authenticates that Howard signed this bat.
