1957 marked the end of an era for National League baseball in New York City as both the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants played their last seasons in the City That Never Sleeps before relocating to Los Angeles and San Francisco respectively. Offered here is an Official National League Warren Giles stamped team signed ball signed by 19 members of the 1957 New York Giants. Manager Bill Rigney signed his name in blue pen across the sweet spot. The south panel has the signatures of Bucky Walters, Whitey Lockman, Hall of Famer Willie Mays, Bobby Thomson and Ed Bressoud. The east panel has the signatures of Dusty Rhodes, Wes Westrum, Hank Sauer, Marv Grissom and Ray Crone. The west panel has Danny O’Connell, Wes Westrum (second signature), Ray Jablonski and Don Mueller. The north panel has Dave Williams, John Antonelli, Valmy Thomas and Ozzie Virgil. The ball displays toning with the stampings faded, but the signatures are clear. This comes with a LOA from JSA.
