Former NBA star Rick Fox enjoyed a stellar 13-season career playing for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The Canadian-born forward out of the University of North Carolina, won three titles with the Lakers from 2000-2002 and retired following the 2004 season.
Led by one of the most prolific duos in NBA history in Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant, the 2002 Los Angeles Lakers swept the New Jersey Nets in the NBA Finals to win their third straight NBA championship. O’Neal posted season averages of 27.2 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, while Bryant scored 25.2 points per game, while adding 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists. Rick Fox finished fourth on the team in scoring (7.9 per game), starting in all 82 games.
Fox wore these Nike Force size 15 ½ sneakers during the 2001-02 season. These sneakers are all white with purple accents. The Nike swoosh is on each toe in silver with purple borders. The laces are white with “MAX” and “AIR” on each sides of the top laces. Fox has signed each sneaker in blue marker on the outside ankles of each sneaker and these shoes displays moderate game use with abrasion marks and other stains. These sneakers come with a LOA from Rick Fox.
