In 2004, the best of the Major League and the best of the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) played an eight-game series in Japan, with the Major League All-Stars winning five games to three. Among the Major League All-Stars were Miguel Cabrera, Manny Ramirez, Carl Crawford, Moises Alou, Victor Martinez, Vernon Wells, Roger Clemens and David Ortiz. Offered here are a collection of baseball caps given to David Ortiz by his MLB teammates from the Japan trip. The first hat is a Florida Marlins cap signed by Miguel Cabrera. The second cap is a Texas Rangers cap signed by Hank Blalock. The third hat is an Atlanta Braves cap signed by Marcus Giles. The fourth hat is a Tampa Bay Devils Rays cap signed by Carl Crawford. The fifth hat is David Ortiz's Boston Red Sox cap. The sixth hat is a Toronto Blue Jays cap signed Vernon Wells, who was the MVP of the series. All of the caps have the “MLB Japan All-Star Series” logo patch sewn on the left side and come in a custom display. This comes with a Hologram from the Estate sale of David Ortiz.
