1986 American League Rookie of the Year Jose Canseco began his season on Opening Day at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on April 8th going 1-for-3 as the A’s fell to the Minnesota Twins 3-2. This offered lineup card is the official lineup card from the Oakland A’s for the Opening Day Game of 1986. On the top of the white card it reads “1986 OFFICIAL BATTING ORDER OAKLAND” with the batting lineup in the “ORIGINAL” column. The A’s lineup was handwritten in black pen and reads “Phillips Murphy Baker Kingman Canseco Lansford Davis Griffin Tettleton” with “Codiroli” as the pitcher. The date “4/8/86” is handwritten in black pen. Phillips’ name has been circled in blue marker with additional names added in blue marker in the “CHANGE” column. This lineup card was signed by manager Jackie Moore on the “Manager’s Signature” line. This comes with a COA from JSA.
