On July 28, 1991, Dennis Martinez became the 13th pitcher to toss a perfect game when he blanked the Los Angeles Dodgers. Offered here are two lineup cards – one official card from the Dodgers and one carbon copy card provided to the Dodgers from the Expos. The Dodgers official card is a cream color with “OFFICIAL BATTING ORDER CLUB LOS ANGELES”. Handwritten in blue pen is the dated “7/28/91”. There are three columns “ORIGINAL”, “CHANGE” and “ALSO ELIGIBLE” with the Dodgers lineup handwritten in blue pen that reads “Butler CF Samuel 2b Murray 1b Strawberry RF Daniels LF Harris 3b Scioscia C Griffin SS Morgan P”. “Tom Lasorda” was printed in blue pen and traced over in black marker and “LOSE-2-0 PERFECT GAME” is handwritten in black marker below the lineup. There is a vertical crease in the middle.

The second card is a blue carbon copy of the Montreal Expos lineup. “ON ROAD-OFFCIAL BATTING ORDER CLUB MONTREAL” is printed on the top and “7-28-91” is copied on the top right. There are three columns “ORIGINAL”, “CHANGE” and “ALSO ELIGIBLE” with the Expos lineup copied in black that reads “DeShields 4 Grissom 8 Martinez 9 Calderon 7 Wallach 5 Walker 3 Hassey 2 Owen 6 Martinez 1. Manager Tom Runnells’ name is next to the “HOME MANAGER’S COPY”. There is a vertical crease down the center.  Originally sourced from Tommy Lasorda's personal collection.
