Former NBA star Rick Fox enjoyed a stellar 13-season career playing for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The Canadian-born forward out of the University of North Carolina, won three titles with the Lakers from 2000-2002 and retired following the 2004 season. Fox and the late Kobe Bryant were teammates on the Lakers from Fox’s first season in LA in 1997-98 to Fox’s retirement following the 2003-04 season.
Offered here is Kobe Bryant’s NBA Finals game worn Los Angeles Lakers warm up suit from the 2000 NBA Finals. This suit was worn during the Lakers’ home games and both the jacket and pants are yellow with white and purple trim. The Nike jacket is a size 3XL and has the Lakers’ logo patch sewn on the upper left chest. On the upper right chest is the NBA logo and the Nike swoosh in purple. The front has two pockets by the waist and vertical purple and white stripes. The sleeves have purple and white stripes with the left sleeve having the “2000 NBA FINALS” logo patch sewn on. The back has “LAKERS” sewn on in purple and white tackle twill. The Nike 3XL tag with the “LENGTH+4” flag and Lakers logo and NBA Authentics tags is sewn on the inside back collar. Bryant’s number “8” is handwritten in faded black marker on the Nike tag.
The matching gold pants were also manufactured by Nike and are a size 2 XL. These pants have white and purple stripes down the sides and are break-away buttons on the sides. On the bottom of the white stripe on the left leg is the Lakers logo with “LOS ANGELES” embroidered in purple. The front of the pants has the NBA logo and purple Nike swoosh on the upper left leg. The Nike 2XL tag with the “LENGTH+4” flag and Lakers logo and NBA Authentics tags is sewn on the inside back waist. Bryant’s number “8” is handwritten in faded black marker on the Nike tag. This warm up suit displays moderate use and comes with a signed LOA from Rick Fox, who states this suit was gifted to him by Bryant and has been in his personal collection.
