Hall of Famer Mel Ott debuted for the New York Giants in 1926 at the age of 17 and remained with the team until his retirement in 1947. As one of the leading sluggers in the pre-war era, Ott was a very popular player in the 1920s and 1930s. His high leg kick helped the diminutive Ott to his 511 career home runs. This offered photo collage features a signed cut from the great Giants’ slugger. Ott’s signature is in bold black pen with “Giants” written in blue marker below his name. This signed cut is centered on this 15 x 8-inch display that has two black and white photographs above and below. The photograph above, shows Ott in his Giants’ uniform looking into the camera holding his bat over his left shoulder. The bottom picture shows Ott in his follow-through left handed swing with a catcher looking on. This comes with a LOA from JSA for the signature.
