2017 was Giancarlo Stanton’s last season with the Marlins’ franchise. Stanton went out with a bang as he led the National League with 59 home runs and 132 RBI as took home the NL MVP Award. Stanton also made his fourth all-star team as the game was held in his home stadium in Miami. This white home jersey was issued to Stanton for the 2017 All-Star Game and has “MIAMI” sewn across the chest in primarily black, orange and blue tackle twill. “STANTON” is sewn across the back shoulders in black and silver tackle twill above a black, orange and silver tackle twill “27”. A logo for the 2017 All-Star Game, which was held in Miami, is sewn on the right sleeve, and a Marlins logo patch is sewn on the left above a white Majestic logo. A memorial patch for the late All-Star pitcher Jose Fernandez is sewn on the left chest of this jersey. A black and gold vinyl star with “4” in gold is on the left sleeve. A vinyl MLB logo patch is applied to the back collar, and a Majestic size “46” tag is applied to the front left tail and an additional Majestic bar code tag is printed vertically on the center front tail and reads “#27 2017 46T +2 B 1073”. The sleeve and collar openings are ringed with an orange band. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB891228) for the 2017 All-Star Game issue.
