Nicknamed the “Splash Brothers” for their lethal 3-point shooting prowess, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were on fire during the 2016-17 season as the Golden State Warriors won their second NBA Title in three seasons. The Warriors dispatched LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals, after the Cavs stunned the Warriors the year before. Offered here are individual-signed basketballs from Curry and Thompson. Each ball is a Spalding Official Game Ball Adam Silver Commissioner stamped “2017 NBA CHAMPIONS” basketball with a panel having “2017” with the Larry O’Brien trophy image as the “1” and the previous years the Warriors’ franchise were champions “1947, 1956, 1975 & 2015”. Also on that panel is printed “MOST CONSECUTIVE PLAYOFF WINS IN NBA HISTORY”. Both Curry and Thomson signed their names in silver marker with Curry signing on the championship history panel, inscribing “30” and Thompson’s on the 2017 NBA CHAMPIONS panel. Both of these signed basketballs are limited-edition 7/17 and are marked in silver.
