Before Hall of Fame manager Joe Torre entered the realm of coaching, he was a solid player as he was selected to nine all-star teams and was the 1971 National League MVP with the St. Louis Cardinals. Torre used this Adirondack 129A model bat during his final seasons three seasons between 1975-77 when he suited up for the New York Mets. This offered bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and blue ink transfers present on the barrel. The model number “129A” is stamped on the knob, while Torre’s number “9” is handwritten in faded black marker on the knob and top barrel. Torre has signed his name on the barrel in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5, plus a LOA from Beckett Authentication for his signature.
