Giancarlo Stanton was still known as “Mike” when he debuted with Florida Marlins in 2010. The 20-year-old rookie burst out of the gate, hitting 22 home runs and 21 doubles in only 100 games. This Giancarlo “Mike” Stanton rookie season Louisville Slugger P147 model bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are many ball marks with stitch impressions and blue ink transfers cover the barrel. Cleat marks and black bat rack streaks are also visible on the barrel and a moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle. The date of manufacture “8/3/2010”, length “33.5” and weight “31.0” are stamped into the knob. Stanton’s number “27” is handwritten in black marker on both the knob and cupped top barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and have graded this bat a near-perfect GU 9.5.
