Before Los Angeles Angels sensation Shohei Ohtani joined the Major League in 2018, he was already a star for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of the NPL from 2013-2017. Ohtani was a five-time all-star and Pacific League MVP in 2016. With his hitting prowess and ace-type pitching arsenal, it’s no wonder he draws comparisons to Babe Ruth.
