This fragile and ephemeral piece – one of the last mementoes produced during the twilight of its legendary subject's career – was only fleetingly distributed within a single region of the country. The short biographical text beneath the Yankee captain's likeness references his "Iron Man" record, a feat of "consecutive playing" that was still ongoing at the time of the item's production. The hand-cut paper relic is unmarked, with fully legible printing.
