After spending the first seven seasons with the Chicago Bulls, where he won three NBA titles, power forward/center signed with the Orlando Magic to start the 1994-95 season. Grant teamed up with Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal and star Penny Hardaway and that trio paid instant dividends to the Magic. The Magic rolled through the Eastern Conference playoffs and reached the franchise’s first ever NBA Finals appearance. Grant also made the final basket in the last game ever played at the fabled Boston Garden as the Magic closed out the Celtics in the playoffs.
