As the former top overall pick in the draft in 2004, lots of success was expected of Carson Palmer. Despite helping lead the Cincinnati Bengals to two playoff appearances, Palmer was dealt to the Oakland Raiders prior to the 2011 season. Palmer wore this jersey on October 3, 2010 in a road game against the Cleveland Browns. This white jersey has Palmer’s number “9” on the front stitched in black on orange tackle twill. The NFL logo is at the bottom of the V-neck collar, and the pink BCA Captain’s patch is near the right shoulder. The back has the name “PALMER” in white on black tackle twill on an orange name plate, with his number “9” below in similar style as the front. His number is stitched on both shoulders. This mesh jersey with stretchable side panels is custom fitted with hemmed shoulders and waist. There is a tremendous amount of game use associated, with dirt and grass stains all over the back and shoulders, with a few on the front indicating Palmer took some vicious abuse. The Browns recorded four sacks of Palmer that day, and looks like quite a few other hits which sent the quarterback to the ground. However, despite the abuse and the Bengals 23-20 loss, Palmer had a good individual day, completing 25 of 36 passes for 371 yards and two touchdowns. The reverse number 9 is signed boldly in silver Sharpie “Carson Palmer #9.” This is a tremendous game used jersey, worn during the NFL’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. COA from PSA/DNA, cert number N67608 for the jersey, and full LOA from PSA/DNA.
