Former NBA star Rick Fox enjoyed a stellar 13-season career playing for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The Canadian-born forward out of the University of North Carolina, won three titles with the Lakers from 2000-2002 and retired following the 2004 season. Offered here are a collection of shorts, a t-shirt and sweatshirt that was worn by Rick Fox during his time with the Lakers and comes directly from his personal collection. The first item is a yellow long-sleeve sweatshirt that has a purple band arching across the chest and down the sides. “LAKERS” is embroidered in purple on the purple band. There is a Nike tag on the front left tail and a Lakers’ logo patch on the upper back neck. The second item is a yellow and purple t-shirt with the top portion purple and the bottom yellow. Screen-printed on the front in purple is the Lakers’ logo with a “BACK FOR SECONDS” tag line and an image with two hands – one holding a championship ring with a fork and the other holding a knife. The back of this shirt has a “FOX SPORTS NET” logo, a “Rob Schneider in THE ANIMAL JUNE 1st” and an additional logo.

The final two items in this lot are shorts. The first pair are yellow and were made by Nike. These size XXL DRI-FIT shorts have vertical purple stripes on the sides, along with the NBA logo embroidered on the upper right leg. Below the NBA logo is a purple Nike swoosh and the Lakers’ logo on the lower left leg. The purple stripe runs horizontal across the back waist and a patch is sewn on the center that includes the NBA logo, the Lakers logo and a white Nike swoosh. The other shorts are all purple and are made of a mesh material. These Nike size 3XL shorts have the Lakers’ logo screen-printed in yellow, purple and white on the lower left leg. The NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left waist with the Nike swoosh in yellow below. The Nike TEAM tag is sewn on the outside back waist. This lot comes with a LOA from Rick Fox.
