Offered here is a team signed baseball from the 1992 Greensboro Hornets, the first professional team Derek Jeter played for following his signing with the New York Yankees after being drafted in the first round out of Kalamazoo Central High School in 1992. This ball has been signed by 23 members of that team in black marker, including three of the four “Core Four” players that would turn the Yankees franchise into perennial World Series contenders in the 1990’s and early 2000’s.  Jeter’s signature appears just below the stamped sweet spot. This ball also includes the signatures of Jorge Posada and Andy Pettitte. A great early career ball with 75% of the fame “Core Four” before they hit the Majors and this ball comes with a LOA from JSA.
