Widely regarded as the greatest hitter who ever lived, "The Splendid Splinter" blasted 521 dingers during his incredible career that included 19 All-Star game appearances. Williams raked his way to two American League Most Valuable Player Awards while also winning a pair of Triple Crowns. "The Kid" was inducted into Cooperstown in 1966. This black and white 16x20 photo features Ted smacking his first career home run in 1939 during a Red Sox exhibition game, a grand slam which plated three Hall of Famers: Foxx, Cronin, and Doerr. Photo has been professionally matted with navy suede, placed in a beautiful cherry wood frame and topped with UV glass to protect the signature from fading.
