One of the games brightest future stars is the 21-year-old Boston Celtics phenom Jayson Tatum. Selected third overall in 2017 after one season with Duke, Tatum immediately rose to popularity helping guide the Celtics to an NBA Eastern Conference Finals in his rookie season. He became the first Celtics rookie to score 20 points in five straight playoff games. Bird held the previous record of four. At the end of his playoff run, he joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only rookies in playoff history to record 10 games of 20 or more points scored during their first playoff runs. Tatum was praised by LeBron James and called the games next Superstar after his performance. In 2019 Tatum won the NBA All Star Skills challenge and has continued his rise to superstardom in the 2019-2020 NBA Season.
Tatum’s best game as a pro came during the February 23, 2020 game against the LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers when he went off for a career-high 41 points. The back has “TATUM” sewn on in gold tackle twill, with the NBA logo embroidered above the number and a gold patch on the collar with the Larry O’Brien Trophy top image and “17”.
