This offered Emsley A. Laney High School (Wilmington, North Carolina) yearbook was for the 1979-80 school year and features a junior named Michael Jordan. This hardcover book is navy with “NINETEEN EIGHTY” surrounding the school’s circle Buccaneers mascot logo in gold. Below is “SPINNAKER 80” in gold. Jordan’s formal photograph is on page 110 of the “Juniors” section and is on the very top right. It would only be two years later that a young Jordan would hit the game winning shot for North Carolina in the 1982 NCAA Championship game against Patrick Ewing and Georgetown. There are six pictures in the row and on the left column next to the row it lists “Mike Jordan”. This yearbook is good overall condition with some minor damage on the top of the binder. A great piece of early Michael Jordan history.
