Offered in this lot is a pair of original Air Jordan I sneakers in the royal blue colorway signed by Michael Jordan himself. The “Last Dance” subject is the consensus best basketball player of all-time, and a singularly ferocious competitor and teammate. Jordan’s exploits on and off the court are legendary, with his six rings, five MVP trophies, and 30.1 points per game scoring average earning the former Carolina baller a spot in the 2009 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class.
These offered high-top Jordan sneakers are royal blue and black, with a royal blue Nike swoosh sewn on both sides of the shoes. The Air Jordan “Wings” logo is present on the shoes and a Nike Air tag is sewn on both tongues. Jordan has signed the heel of each shoe in black marker, inscribing his iconic number “23” in addition to the signature. This comes with a LOA from JSA for the signatures.
