Offered here is a collection of five signed memorabilia from Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Muhammad Ali and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. All five greats can be considered the greatest in their sport and the first item is a color photograph of a young Mickey Mantle in full uniform leaning over with his glove on his left leg and his right hand on his right leg. Mantle signed this photo in blue marker. The next item is a color photograph of Joe DiMaggio in full uniform at spring training. DiMaggio is holding a bat and looking off camera with the baseball diamond and palm trees in the background. DiMaggio signed his name in blue marker across his image. The third item is an Official American League Bobby Brown stamped baseball that has been signed Ted Williams in blue pen across the sweet spot. The fourth item is the January 13, 1992 Sports Illustrated with Muhammad Ali on the cover. Ali is dressed in a black tuxedo with a boxing ring cake with 50 lit candles. The headline is “Once and Forever” and the subheading reads “Ali hits the big five-oh, and we celebrate by revisiting his youthful days as Cassius Clay”. Ali signed his name in blue marker on the “50” that’s on the cake. The final item is also a Sports Illustrated magazine with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the cover dated June 22, 1987. The image is of Kareem from the back in his home Lakers’ jersey slam-dunking a ball. This was right after the Lakers won their second title in three seasons. Kareem signed his name in black marker across the bottom of his image. This entire lot comes with a JSA Auction Letter.
