Some players performances are so dominant over an extended period they earn nicknames based on the month. In baseball Reggie Jackson was known as “Mr. October” and Derek Jeter was “Mr. November”. In basketball, it’s fitting that Michael Jordan would be recognized as “Mr. June” after leading his Chicago Bulls to six NBA titles in eight years with the Finals occurring during the month of June. Offered here is a large 37 x 26-inch framed piece that has championship photographs from Jordan’s first five titles, along with a letter signed by Jordan himself. Clockwise from the bottom left, the first photo shows Jordan in tears clutching the Larry O’Brien Trophy following his first title in 1991. A gold plate with black lettering reads “1991 NBA CHAMPIONS Chicago Bulls 4, Los Angeles Lakers 1 Michael Jordan NBA Finals MVP”. The next photo shows Jordan driving to the basket against the Portland Trail Blazers in 1992. The plate below reads “1992 NBA CHAMPIONS Chicago Bulls 4, Portland Trail Blazers 2 Michael Jordan NBA Finals MVP. The third photo is from 1993 against Phoenix with his arms in the air and the plate rading “1993 NBA CHAMPIONS Chicago Bulls 4, Phoenix Suns 2 Michael Jordan NBA Finals MVP”. The fourth photo shows Jordan going for a layup against Seattle with the plate reading “1996 NBA CHAMPIONS Chicago Bulls 4, Seattle SuperSonics 2 Michael Jordan NBA Finals MVP”. The final photo shows a closeup of Jordan at the podium following the Bulls victory over Utah with the plate reading “1997 NBA CHAMPIONS Chicago Bulls 4, Utah Jazz 2 Michael Jordan NBA Finals MVP”. Centered on the bottom is a letter from Upper Deck which is a limited-edition 44/523 dated October 1, 1997. Jordan signed his name in blue ballpoint pen above his typed name on the bottom. This framed piece comes with a COA from Upper Deck Authenticated (BAC42247) for Jordan’s signature and the limited-edition.
