Offered here are 10 baseballs that have been signed by Chicago Cubs greats and Hall of Famers. Eight of the baseballs have been single signed, while two are team signed baseballs from the 1986 squad. The first two baseballs have been signed by Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins on the sweet spot. Jenkins signed an Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball in blue pen across the sweet spot and in black pen across the sweet spot of an Official National League Leonard S. Coleman ball. Jenkins inscribed “HOF 91” on both. The next two baseballs were signed by Hall of Famer Greg Maddux on the sweet spot. Maddux signed his name in black pen on an Official American League Gene A. Budig ball and in blue pen on an OAL Selig ball. The next two baseballs were signed by Hall of Famer Andre Dawson. Dawson signed his name in blue pen across the sweet spot on two baseballs and inscribed “87 N.L. MVP”. Dawson signed two ONL Coleman baseballs. The next two baseballs are ONL Coleman stamped balls that have been signed by Sammy Sosa in black pen across the sweet spot. Sosa inscribed “#21” above his signature.

The last two baseballs in this lot are “Chicago Cubs” stamped Rawlings baseballs that have been signed by members of the 1986 Cubs. All of the signatures have been penned in blue and they have Gene Michael’s signature on the sweet spot. Other signatures include Hall of Famers Ryne Sandberg, Dennis Eckersely and Lee Smith, along with Terry Francona, Leon Durham, Frank DiPino, Manny Trillo and several others. This entire lot comes with a JSA Auction Letter of authentication.
