Offered is one of the sports collecting hobby’s most desired items - a single signed Babe Ruth baseball, and item on many collecting “bucket lists”. This well-worn OAL Harridge ball has the faded blue and red stitching, with stampings which have been faded away over time, and are barely noticeable. However, the black fountain pen “Babe Ruth” signature is well preserved, easily recognizable and grades a solid (“5/10”) in strength. The ball contains many scrapes, apparently used for play at some time, but still retains a nice display quotient. Full LOA form PSA/DNA, cert number V03256.
