This lot includes nine baseballs signed by some of the greatest pitchers who ever played the game. All of the signatures are on the sweet-spot and are either signed in blue and black ink. The signatures and baseballs include: a Bob Feller OAL Brown ball that has yellowed some, but is in good shape; a Steve Carlton ONL Giamatti ball that is white with only a few scuff marks; a Goose Gossage Vintage 1978, official World Series Kuhn ball that features the 75th World Series logo. The ball is white and is in mint condition. There’s also a Bob Gibson ONL White ball that’s creamy-white with a few yellow stains; a Roger Clemons OAL Brown ball that is mostly white with scuff marks with an inscription that reads, “go bosox – rocket”; a Whitey Ford OAL Brown ball that’s mostly yellow with a few stains near signature; a Phil Niekro OAL Brown ball that’s a shade closer to golden-brown than yellow; a Robin Roberts ONL Giamatti ball that’s mostly creamy-white with a couple of scuff marks; and a Tom Seaver American Express ball that features the American Express logo, while “Diamonds are forever” is found on the label. The most is creamy-white and in very good shape with only a couple of marks while Seaver added the inscription, “Best Wishes”. Goose Gossage COA by Socci’s Sports Den.
