Graig Nettles was best known for his time playing third base for the New York Yankees, though he did play for six franchises in his 22-year career. This 1984-86 labeling period ash game-used Louisville Slugger (C271) bat from Nettles’ time with the Padres measures 35 inches and weighs 32.6 ounces and contains his signature and No. 9 in black marker on the barrel. Black streaks from the bat rack run down the bat’s barrel, which is chewed up from a series of cleat marks. Scattered black ink can be found on the barrel with accompanying ball marks. Nettles’ No. 9 is located in black ink on the knob and top of the bat’s barrel. The bat does not suffer from any cracks. The bat comes with a full PSA/DNA LOA.
