Presented here is a Spalding basketball signed by the Hall of Fame Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards shooting guard Michael Jordan. Jordan, a six-time NBA champion, reinvigorated the sport during the 1980s, and brought a downtrodden Chicago Bulls franchise back to national prominence. Jordan, who is well known for his foray into minor league baseball, retired after the 2002-03 season, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009. Jordan signed this limited-edition Chicago Bulls Franchise Basketball. Jordan’s signature appears in black marker on the off-white panel with the Bulls logo and “CHICAGO BULLS” printed in black. On the left side of the logo is printed in black “NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS 1991 vs Los Angeles Lakers (4-1) 1992 vs Portland Trail Blazers (4-2) 1993 vs Phoenix Suns (4-2)” while on the right of the logo is printed “NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS 1996 vs Seattle SuperSonics (4-2) 1997 vs Utah Jazz (4-2) 1998 vs Utah Jazz (4-2)”. There are also two additional off-white panels with a timeline of the Bulls’ franchise. This Michael Jordan signed basketball comes with a LOA from Upper Deck Authenticated (BAH53892).
