It took six seasons before Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to their first NBA title. After capturing that elusive crown during the 1990-91 season, Jordan and the Bulls embarked on their quest to repeat as champions. The 1991-92 season saw Jordan, for the sixth consecutive season, lead the NBA in scoring with a 30.1 PPG average, while the Bulls were the top team in the entire NBA with a 67-15 record in the regular season. Jordan then led the Bulls to their second NBA title with series victories over the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers.

Offered here are a pair of Nike Air Jordan VII sneakers worn by Jordan during the 1991-92 season. These sneakers are all-black with orange and purple trim. The size 13 high-top shoes have the Air Jordan logo in red on the outside ankles and “23” in red on the heels. On the tongues is embroiderd “JORDAN” in red with “A I R” in smaller letters mixed in with the Jordan wordmark. The shoes display outstanding game use with various abrasion marks, fading and overall wear. Jordan signed his name in silver marker on the toe of the left shoe. These sneakers come with a COA from Upper Deck Authenticated (BAE67163), which authenticate that Jordan signed these sneakers during an 8/15/99 camp in Santa Barbara. There are also LOAs from PSA/DNA (Z06932), who have graded Jordan’s signatures a MINT 9 and JSA (Y58919).
