Offered in this lot are 13 baseball, of which 1 have been single-signed by Hall of Famers and legends of the New York Yankees, with one ball dual-signed and one ball signed by members of the 1981 American League Champion Yankees’ squad. The first three balls have been signed by David Wells in blue pen across the sweet spots on these Official American League Gene A. Budig baseballs. Wells inscribed “P.G. 5/17/98” below his signature on each. The next ball has been signed by Rick Reuschel in blue pen on the sweet spot of this OAL Budig stamped ball. The next ball has been signed by Hall of Famer Whitey Ford in blue pen on the sweet spot of this Official American League Bobby Brown stamped ball. The next ball was signed by Hall of Famer Yogi Berra on the sweet spot in blue pen. This ball has been signed on an OAL Brown baseball. Next, Daryl Strawberry signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot of this Official National League A. Bartlett Giamatti stamped ball. The next ball has been signed by Hall of Famer Jim “Catfish” Hunter on the sweet spot of this OAL Budig stamped ball in blue pen. The next ball was signed by David Robertson in black pen on the sweet spot of this Official Major League Allan H. Selig ball. Robertson inscribed “#30” below his name. The next ball is an OAL Brown stamped ball that has been signed by Hall of Famer Phil Rizzuto in blue pen across the sweet spot. Rizzuto inscribed “HOF 94” below his signature. The next ball was signed by Jim Leyritz in black pen on the sweet spot of this USSSA stamped Wilson ball. Leyritz inscribed “13”. The next ball is an OAL Brown ball that has been signed by Hall of Famers Mel Allen on the sweet spot in blue pen, inscribing “How About That” and Hall of Famer Phil Rizzuto in blue pen on the panel below, inscribing “Holy Cow”. The final ball in this lot is an Official Ball 1981 World Series Bowie K. Kuhn stamped ball that has been signed by members of the 1981 Yankees. Signatures include manager and Hall of Famer Bob Lemon, Hall of Famers Yogi Berra and Goose Gossage, Bob Watson, Rick Reuschel, Rick Cerone, Graig Nettles and others. This entire lot comes with a JSA Auction LOA.
