Hall of Famer Rod Carew played for the Minnesota Twins and the California Angels where he played first and second base. Carew was an 18-time All-Star, an AL MVP, Rookie of the Year, and a seven-time AL batting champion. Though not known as a home run hitter, Carew had an amazingly high batting average through his career and had 3,053 career hits.

This offered Wilson A-2800 model glove is from Carew’s 1983 season with the California Angels, in which he recorded a .339 batting average, appeared in 129 games, and was an All-Star. This glove has a Triple “I” bar webbing style and is constructed of Wilson’s top grade Ansonia tanned leather with rawhide laces and nylon stitching. This glove displays outstanding game use with the pocket and web face well worn and the body showing even wear. “RC-29” is printed in black on the back of the fingers and Carew has signed his name in black marker on the outside index finger area. A great gamer from one of baseball’s best players. This comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00650) for the game use and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
