After spending the first eight of his professional seasons with the New York Yankees, Bobby Murcer was traded to the San Francisco Giants for Bobby Bonds following the 1974 season. Murcer had a solid debut season with the Giants as he batted .298, had 11 home runs and drove 98. Murcer was 6th in the National League in 1976 with 23 home runs and was voted Giants MVP for his 10-game winning RBI and leading the club in steals. This offered Adirondack 154X model bat was used by Murcer during the 1975-76 seasons. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. The back barrel has slight checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact and there are other ball marks and abrasions on the barrel. Murcer’s number “20” is handwritten in green marker on the knob and Murcer’s trademark palm pad id is on the handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B19149) and has been graded a perfect GU 10.
