Kobe Bryant announced his bittersweet retirement from the NBA on November 29th, 2015 in a touching poem titled “Dear Basketball” in The Player’s Tribune. Bryant, an MVP and 18-time All-Star, defined his era with his famous “Mamba Mentality” and unrivaled will to win. With career scoring averages of 25.0 points per game and two Bill Russell Finals MVP trophies, Bryant was a shoo-in for posthumous induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020. Offered in this lot is a staff ticket to the November 29th, 2015 game between the Lakers and Pacers at STAPLES Center after Bryant announced his retirement. Bryant scored 13 points, adding four rebounds and three assists, in Los Angeles’ 107-103 loss. Bryant has signed the ticket in black marker, inscribing “24” after his signature. This ticket comes with a COA from JSA (P42230).
