"Handsome Lou's" 15-year career included leading the AL in doubles three times, seven All-Star appearances, the 1944 AL batting title, and 1948 AL MVP. A lifetime .295 hitter, Lou led the Cleveland Indians to the team's last World Series championship in 1948. He was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1970. The barrel of this pristine 35-inch, Model 125 Louisville Slugger has been engraved with "GENUINE/Lou Boudreau/LOUISVILLE SLUGGER." Boudreau boldly signed his name in vivid blue Sharpie on the barrel's sweet spot, along with "'48 W.S. Champs." A COA from PSA/DNA (#U69520) accompanies this item.
