Michael Jordan is considered one of, if not the greatest basketball player to ever live. Jordan also dabbled in baseball, leaving basketball following this third straight NBA title with the Chicago Bulls following the 1993 season. However, it can be argued that golf is his greatest sports passion. Jordan is avid golfer and didn’t start playing until his junior season had just concluded at North Carolina with an upset loss to Indiana in the East Regional semi-final. It just so happened that one of the people that got him introduced to the game was PGA Pro Davis Love III, who was a sophomore at UNC in 1984. After Jordan played his first round that spring, he was hooked, and has been playing ever since. Offered here is a pair of size 13 Nike golf shoes worn by Jordan at a charity golf event in Canada sometime in the late 1990’s. Since metal spikes were all but banned by the majority of golf courses by 1999, these spikes were most likely used in that time frame. These Nike Air golf shoes are white with black trim. They display moderate use with grass remnants on some of the metal spikes. Jordan has signed each of these cleats in fade black marker on the white toe area of each shoe. These cleats come with a LOA from J.T. Sports for the use and a LOA from JSA for Jordan’s signatures.
