Michael Jordan & Summer Premium Auction Closing July 18 10PM Eastern
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 7/18/2020
Offered in this lot is a pair of programs from the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers contest on April 15th, 1958 in the first MLB game held on the West Coast. The Giants began their tenure at Seals Stadium with a thunderous 8-0 win, instantly reigniting a rivalry born in New York. Ruben Gomez out-pitched Don Drysdale with a complete game shutout, and Willie Mays finished the game 2-5 with a pair of RBI. Orlando Cepeda and Daryl Spencer homered for the Giants. These two programs are unscored and are in superb condition. Both programs show Seals Stadium on the front cover and a Standard Oil advertisement on the back cover.
