Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw wore this road jersey during the Dodgers 3-0 loss to the San Francisco Giants on October 1st, 2016. Kershaw pitched seven strong innings, allowing only six hits and 2 earned runs. Kershaw, despite being laid low by back troubles for much of the second half of 2016, had a terrific season, posting a 12-4 record to go with a miniscule 1.69 ERA in his 21 starts. Kershaw struck out 172 batters in 149 innings while walking only 11 batters and tossing an MLB-best three shutouts. Thanks to Kershaw’s stellar efforts, the Dodgers won the National League West and advanced to the National League Championship Series, where they lost in six games to the eventual World Series champion Chicago Cubs.

This gray, button-down road jersey has “Los Angeles” sewn across the chest in royal blue tackle twill above a royal blue paraph. Kershaw’s number “22” is sewn on the left chest in red tackle twill and on the back of the jersey in royal blue tackle twill. “KERSHAW” is sewn across the back shoulders in royal blue tackle twill, while a royal blue “LA” is sewn on the left sleeve. The sleeves are accented with royal blue piping, and a vinyl MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic Flex Base size 50 tag is applied to the front left tail of this jersey, which features gray mesh areas on the sides and back tail. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ703855), which states that the jersey was worn by Kershaw during the October 1st, 2016 game.
