Coming up through the San Diego Padres farm system, Fernando Tatis, Jr. played 14 games for the AA San Antonio Missions of the Texas League after being promoted from Single-A Fort Wayne. In those 14 games, Tatis, Jr. had 55 at-bats and collected 14 hits for a .255 average and added a home run. Tatis, Jr. would make his Major League debut with the Padres on March 28, 2019 and finished the 2019 season by coming in third for the National League Rookie of the Year.

Tatis, Jr. wore this navy button-down San Antonio Missions jersey during the 2017 season and has been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the September 10, 2017 game in which Tatis hit his only home run with San Antonio that season. This jersey has the Missions’ logo patch sewn on the upper left chest and Tatis’ number “21” sewn on in white and gold tackle twill. There is gold piping that runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and on the sleeve ends. The left sleeve has a Texas state flag patch and the back has “21” sewn on in white and gold tackle twill. The MiLB logo patch is sewn on above the piping on the back collar. This Wilson jersey displays moderate to heavy game use and comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (425472), who have photo matched this jersey to the September 10, 2017 game.
