Michael Jordan & Summer Premium Auction Closing July 18 10PM Eastern
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 7/18/2020
It was his last shot of the 1997-98 season, his last shot as a Chicago Bull and it was shot through the hearts of Utah Jazz fans when Michael Jordan’s clutch game-winning shot propelled the Bulls to victory in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals and closed out the series. It’s one of the more iconic shots of Jordan’s career, similar to his clutch jumper that won North Carolina the 1982 NCAA Championship Game.
Offered here is a 3.5 x 4.5-foot piece of that floor from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City in which Jordan made his unforgettable shot. This wood floor piece (approximately 30 pieces) is put together like a jigsaw puzzle with the main piece the orange painted 24 ½ -inch diameter circular center that is painted like a basketball. The other pieces are painted a combination of purple, teal, tan and green and form the full center court. Jordan has signed his name in black marker on the orange painted circle. An incredible opportunity to own a piece of NBA history. This comes with a COA from Upper Deck (SHO22752), which authenticates Jordan’s signature and a letter of provenance for the floor.
