Former Boston Red Sox right fielder and 2018 American League MVP Mookie Betts wore these custom Puppy Dog Pals Jordan baseball cleats on August 24th, 2019 during MLB’s Players Weekend festivities. The Red Sox played the Padres at Petco on the 24th, defeating their National League hosts in an exciting 5-4 contest. Betts finished the game 2-5 with an RBI single and his 38th double of the season, while Brock Holt’s solo home run in the top of the eighth inning handed Boston their winning margin. Betts, who was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in February of 2020, hit .295 with 29 home runs, 80 RBI, and 40 doubles in 2019.

The cleats in this lot honor Betts’ daughter Kynlee Ivory, with her name applied to the toe of each multicolored cleat. A picture of Rolly from Puppy Dog Pals is printed on the left cleat, while a picture of Rolly’s co-star Bingo is printed on the right. Nine metal cleats are present on the soles of both shoes. A great amount of field dirt from Petco Park is present on the soles as well. These cleats each come with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB786433, JB786434) and a Fanatics hologram (AA0054367, AA0054368).
