Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda “The Baby Bull” was selected as the NL's the Rookie of the Year in 1958, and with a middle of the order which also featured Willie Mays and Willie McCovey, the San Francisco Giants lineup was a force to be reckoned by opposing staffs. Cepeda finished the 1960 with a solid .297 batting average, 24 home runs and 96 RBI as he earned his second of his seven career All-Star selections.
This offered Hillerich & Bradsby RL33 model bat was used by “The Baby Bull” during the 1960 season. This bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and black bat rack transfers present. The bat has taken on a golden hue with age and Cepeda has signed his name in bold black marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, plus a STICKER ONLY from Beckett Authentication for Cepeda’s signature.
