Juan Soto made his Major League debut with the Washington Nationals on May 20, 2018 and hit a home run the next day for his first MLB hit. The 19-year-old would belt out 21 more round trippers and hit a nice .292 to cap off his rookie season. Soto’s rookie season used Old Hickory AJ25 model bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. There are several ball marks on the barrel along with white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers. There is a heavy coating of Mota Stick on the upper handle and a moderate coat on the lower handle that is covered in red dye from Soto’s batting gloves. “SOTO PACHEO” is stamped into the barrel and Soto’s number “22” is on a Nationals team Schutte sticker affixed to the knob end. Soto has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18306) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, along with a LOA from JSA for Soto’s siganture.
