Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera is baseball’s all-time leader in saves by a substantial margin, with 51 more than the second man on the list and an astonishing 174 in front of the third highest player. This white, button down Yankees Majestic size 48 home jersey has Rivera’s number “42” sewn on the back in navy tackle twill and the interlocking “NY” in navy tackle twill on the upper left chest. Rivera was the last player in baseball to wear the number “42” regularly after it was retired in Jackie Robinson’s honor in 1997. The jersey has the 1999 World Series logo patch sewn on the right sleeve. Rivera signed the “4” digit in silver marker, inscribing “99 W.S MVP” beneath his signature. The only unanimously elected Hall of Famer also inscribed “I want to Thank” on the top of the “2”, “The Good Lord” on the middle of the “2” and “for making me a Yankee” on the bottom of the “2”, all in silver marker. This jersey is a limited-edition 9/42 and comes with a Steiner Sports STICKER (SS006999) and a COA.
