Presented is a high-grade 1969 “Woodstock” festival and concert three-day full ticket to the landmark cultural event in upstate New York held August 15, 16, and 17, 1969. The three-day full ticket to the “Woodstock Music and Art Fair” cost $24 and features black printing on green paper with red registration number (36148) and a red “slash,” star, and crescent moon illustration. The music festival on Max Yasgur’s dairy farm in Bethel, New York, 40 miles southwest of Woodstock, was billed as "an Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music". It attracted an audience of more than 400,000. There were performances by 32 acts outdoors despite sporadic rain that weekend, with notable bands and musicians including The Who, Santana, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Grateful Dead, Sly & The Family Stone, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix.
