The Baltimore Orioles brought the teenager Manny Machado up to the Majors in August of 2012. In his second game, Manny hit not one, but two home runs, making him the youngest Oriole and 12th youngest player in history to record two home runs in a game. The next season would see Machado make his first All-Star Game and win his first Gold Glove Award at third base.

This rookie-year Marucci RT24-M model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel, along with cleat imprints. There is also an impression of a weighted donut visible and a heavy coating of pine tar on the handle. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats manufactured after 2009. The date of manufacture “09/21/12”, Machado’s number “13”, length “4” and weight “2.0” are stamped on the knob. Machado has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “G/U 212 Playoffs”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17558) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10. There is also a STICKER ONLY from Beckett Authentication (H11202) for the signature.
