Offered in this lot is an encapsulated collage containing the signatures of an incredible nine United States Presidents. Over a half century of unwavering leadership is represented on this collage, with the signature of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, located in top position. Descending below Obama on the left side of the encapsulation are the signatures of Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, and Lyndon Baines Johnson. On the right side of the encapsulation, George W. Bush is followed by George H.W., who himself is above the signatures of Jimmy Carter and Richard Nixon. All nine signatures are on individual index cards or cuts, with the signatures of Obama, the Bushes, Nixon, Reagan, and Johnson written in black marker. Clinton and Ford’s signatures have been written in blue marker, while Carter’s is scribed in blue pen. Nixon inscribed “From” in addition to his signature, and Johnson’s signature is framed by the typed words “Sincerely,” and “Lyndon B. Johnson”.
